Sex-biased social networks among Prairie Rattlesnakes (Crotalus viridis)

The data and code provided in this repository support social network analysis of wild Prairie Rattlesnakes (Crotalus viridis) living at rookeries (nurseries) in Colorado. There are two data sources with corresponding code: 1. Camera traps set up at two neighboring rookeries in 2020 where snakes were identified by uniquely painted rattle segments, and 2. a livestreaming camera set up at a separate rookery in 2024 where snakes were identified by YouTube viewers based in their unique scale color patterns. All data were collected as part of Project RattleCam and the camera trap data were filtered on the Zooniverse platform.
