Vegetation resilience is a core indicator that reflects an ecosystem’s ability to maintain its structural and functional stability after disturbance. Although numerous studies have confirmed that vegetation cover in China has consistently shown an increasing trend in greenness, systematic quantitative assessments of its vegetation resilience remain relatively scarce. To address this gap, this study quantifies the resilience of six commonly used vegetation indices based on Critical Slowing Down (CSD) theory and evaluates their reliability. We then systematically analyze the spatiotemporal patterns of vegetation resilience in China and the driving factors behind them.
植被韧性是反映生态系统受扰动后维持自身结构与功能稳定性的核心指标。尽管已有大量研究证实中国植被覆盖的绿度呈持续上升趋势,但针对其植被韧性的系统性定量评估仍相对匮乏。为填补这一研究空白,本研究基于临界慢化(Critical Slowing Down, CSD)理论,对6种常用植被指数的韧性进行量化并评估其可靠性,随后系统分析了中国植被韧性的时空分布格局及其驱动因子。
