GRID3 Mozambique Settlement Extents, Version 01

NOTE: This version of the Mozambique settlement extents has been superseded by "GRID3 Mozambique Settlement Extents, Version 01.01", now available here: https://doi.org/10.7916/d8-d023-ws42 The dataset consists of settlement extents across Mozambique, as well as accompanying population estimates for each settlement extent. This data product contains all information contained in the previous GRID3 Mozambique Settlement Extents, Version 01 Alpha product, with updates. Updates in this version include: a single settlement extent feature class (Alpha contained the same data in three (3) separate feature class layers: BUAs, SSAs & Hamlets), and new population estimate fields ("Population" and "Pop_UN_adj") for each settlement extent. **The population estimate was updated on October 1, 2021 using a high resolution population estimate produced by GRID3.** This work has been undertaken as part of the Geo-Referenced Infrastructure and Demographic Data for Development (GRID3) programme. GRID3 works with countries to generate, validate and use geospatial data on population, settlements, infrastructure, and subnational boundaries. 本数据集涵盖莫桑比克全境的居民点范围数据，以及各居民点对应的配套人口估算值。本数据产品包含旧版GRID3莫桑比克居民点范围Alpha 01版的全部信息，并进行了更新优化。

本版更新内容包括：1. 整合为单一居民点范围要素类（旧Alpha版以三个独立要素类图层分别存储建成区（Built-up Areas, BUA）、小型居民点区（Small Settlement Areas, SSA）与村落（Hamlets）数据）；2. 新增各居民点范围的人口估算字段：“Population”与“Pop_UN_adj”。

**本次人口估算值已于2021年10月1日基于GRID3生成的高分辨率人口估算数据完成更新。**
