Stroke effort and relative lung volume influence heart rate in diving sea lions

This dataset is associated with a manuscript submitted to Journal of Experimental Biology investigating factors that influence the diving heart rate of wild California sea lions. There are 3 files. The first file includes the definitions of the spreading headers (CSL_JEB2020_HeaderDefinitions.xlsx). The second file has the heart rate, activity and dive summary data for all dives analyzed (CSL_Dive_HeartRateActivity_JEB2020.csv). The third file has the heart rate, activity and dive summary data for the dive data in 10-s intervals (CSL_Interval_HeartRateActivity_JEB2020.csv).
