This review evaluates the potential of sweet oranges for anti-aging effects. Articles were sourced from PubMed and Google Scholar using specific keywords, with inclusion criteria were articles in English and Indonesian, available as free full text, and published within the last ten years. From the eight articles included in this study, it was found that <i>Citrus sinensis</i> extract contains various bioactive compounds such as phenols and flavonoids, which contribute to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and support epidermal and dermal aging. However, <i>Citrus sinensis</i> exhibits low to moderate antioxidant activity, which can be enhanced when combined with other compounds. Pairing <i>Citrus sinensis</i> with bakuchiol, curcumin, or silymarin may produce synergistic effects, though further research is needed to confirm these findings.

本综述针对甜橙的抗衰老功效潜力展开评估。本次研究以特定关键词从PubMed及Google Scholar数据库中检索文献,纳入标准为:文献语言为英语及印尼语、可免费获取全文,且发表时间不超过十年。基于纳入本研究的8篇文献,结果显示甜橙(Citrus sinensis)提取物含有酚类、黄酮类等多种生物活性成分,此类成分可赋予提取物抗氧化与抗炎特性,为表皮及真皮层的抗衰进程提供支持。不过,甜橙的抗氧化活性仅处于低至中等水平,与其他化合物复配后可显著提升其抗氧化活性。将甜橙与补骨脂酚(bakuchiol)、姜黄素(curcumin)或水飞蓟宾(silymarin)复配,或可产生协同效应,但该结论仍需进一步研究加以验证。
