Soil moisture monitoring and processed meteorological data for forest water balance modelling at Kienhorst and Tharandt site

This dataset contains the soil moisture monitoring data and processed meteorological input data to the LWF-BROOK90.jl model used for the water balance modelling at the Kienhorst and Tharandt study sites presented in the manuscript "Effect of spatial soil moisture variability in forest plots on model parametrization ans simulated groundwater recharge estimates". The original meteorological observations were provided by the responsible ICOS site operator. These data were processed and aggregated to daily values for use as model input. The original ICOS meteorological data are not part of this dataset.
