Proteome database of Enterobacter cloacae EcWSU1

Enterobacter cloacae is a Gram-negative facultative anaerobic bacterium of clinical significance. A member of the gut microbiota, certain strains of E. cloacae is known to cause disease, which explains why there is increasing attention on understanding its pathophysiology. This work seeks to provide basic proteomic information of the bacterium by parsing the UniProt proteome file of E. cloacae ECWSU1 using an in-house MATLAB proteome analysis software. Overall, the presented proteome database should be useful in guiding genome editing experiments to understand how loss of function of particular genes affect pathogenesis of this emerging human pathogen.阴沟肠杆菌（Enterobacter cloacae）是一类具有临床重要性的革兰氏阴性兼性厌氧细菌。作为肠道微生物群的成员，部分阴沟肠杆菌菌株可引发疾病，这也使得学界对其病理生理学的研究关注度日益提升。本研究通过自研MATLAB蛋白质组分析软件，解析阴沟肠杆菌ECWSU1的UniProt蛋白质组文件，旨在获取该菌的基础蛋白质组学信息。总体而言，本研究提供的蛋白质组数据库将可为指导基因组编辑实验提供参考，以阐明特定基因的功能缺失如何影响这一新兴人类病原菌的致病机制。
