Validation of a Hate Speech Questionnaire

This project aims to validate a newly developed self-report measure of youths’ exposure to and experiences of hate speech among adolescents aged 15–20 in Sweden. The instrument is based on a prior qualitative grounded theory study and will be evaluated using exploratory factor analysis and tests of reliability and construct validity. The study also examines associations between hate speech exposure and psychological well-being and mental health. Approximately 300 participants will complete an online survey including the hate speech measure and established scales of well-being and emotional distress.

本研究旨在针对瑞典15至20岁的青少年群体，对新开发的青少年仇恨言论接触与经历自报告量表（self-report measure）开展验证工作。该量表基于此前一项质性扎根理论研究（qualitative grounded theory study），将通过探索性因素分析（exploratory factor analysis）、信度检验与结构效度检验完成评估。本研究同时探讨仇恨言论接触情况与个体心理幸福感（psychological well-being）及心理健康状况之间的关联。预计将有约300名参与者完成包含该仇恨言论接触量表以及成熟的幸福感与情绪困扰量表的线上问卷调研。
