Whole Genome Sequencing of Pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical and envionmental isolates

P. aeruginosa is a gram-negative bacterium commonly found in both environmental and clinical habitats. As an opportunistic pathogen, it has become a major causative agent for both acute and chronic infections worldwide. In this study, we characterized blaNDM-1 producing P. aeruginosa isolates obtained from a tertiary-care hospital in Singapore.
