A literary geography dataset of Nanjing poetries

Poetry is one of the important carrier of historical and cultural inheritance. Nanjing is one of the first national historical and cultural cities in China, known as the "capital of six Dynasties" and "capital of ten Dynasties", with a long history, deep cultural connotation. There are a large number of poems with Nanjing as the object of description. The abundant cultural and geographic information contained in Nanjing Poetry is of great significance to the study of its historical culture and literary geography. Based on the data sources of books such as Complete Poetry of the Tang, The Complete Ci-Poetry of the Song, A dictionary of poetry appreciation in Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and Nanjing poetry map, this paper selects Nanjing poems written from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty to sort out and extract literature and geographic information such as the author's life, poetry genre, poetry theme, the place described, literary landscape and landscape elements. According to the information obtained, the geographic data set of Nanjing poetry literature is constructed. The data set can provide a data base for the study of historical culture and literary geography.
