Dataset 2: Primate MD2 cDNA sequences

Primate aligned coding sequences for MD2 (myeloid differentiation factor 2 or lymphocyte antigen 96). Sequences were obtained by searching up the protein for each species on Uniprot, and using TBLASTN to find coding DNA sequences. Coding sequences were selected based on the lowest e-value in BLAST, and sequences were aligned with MUSCLE in AliView. Labeling format is location (Africa, Asia, South America, or Madagascar) followed by scientific name of the species.

本数据集为针对MD2（髓系分化因子2（myeloid differentiation factor 2）或淋巴细胞抗原96（lymphocyte antigen 96））的灵长类经比对编码序列。序列获取流程如下：首先在Uniprot数据库中检索各物种的对应蛋白质序列，再通过TBLASTN查找其编码DNA序列。编码序列以BLAST比对中最低的E值（e-value）作为筛选依据，随后在AliView中使用MUSCLE工具完成序列比对。数据集的标注格式为：先标注采样地点（非洲、亚洲、南美洲或马达加斯加），其后紧跟对应物种的学名。
