<b>The Income Redistribution Effect of the Korean Bend Points Scheme: An Analysis of South Korea's 5th National Pension Comprehensive Plan (Draft)</b>

In this paper, we elucidate the income redistribution effects of the Korean Bend Points Scheme (KBPS) through micro-simulation analysis using individual data from the Korean Labor &amp; Income Panel Study (KLIPS). In addition to examining the effects of introducing the KBPS into the current National Pension Scheme (NPS), we also consider the impact when this scheme is combined with the 5th National Pension Comprehensive Plan (Draft), announced by the Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare on October 30, 2023.本研究利用韩国劳动与收入面板研究（Korean Labor & Income Panel Study, KLIPS）的个体数据开展微观模拟分析，阐明了韩国拐点计划（Korean Bend Points Scheme, KBPS）的收入再分配效应。除考察将该计划纳入现行国民养老金计划（National Pension Scheme, NPS）的政策效应外，本研究还进一步探讨了该计划与韩国卫生与福利部2023年10月30日发布的《第五次国民养老金综合计划（草案）》相结合时的实施影响。
