These data were collected in May 2003 to examine population growth rates of aphids on different plant types and plant qualities. A single lab-raised aphid was placed inside a leaf-sized bag of equal area on either Elymus glaucus or Bromus hordeaceous. Aphids were allowed to produce progeny for 4 days, then removed from the plants.
