Panama: cybersecurity strategy maturity level 2020, by area

According to a study on the maturity level of national cybersecurity strategies, Panama's cybersecurity strategy scored the highest in the areas of strategy development and incident responses, sectors in which this country's response received three points out of a maximum of five. In 2020, the cybersecurity policy and strategy implemented in Panama registered some of the lowest scores in cyber defense organization and coordination, where they each reached a maturity level of one.Under the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), a grade of one means the country's cybersecurity strategy is at an initial stage, whereas five indicates such strategy is at an advanced stage.
