资源简介:
Integrated into the towed BIo-Optical Multi-frequency Acoustical and
Physical Environmental Recorder (BIOMAPER-II) vehicle is an enhanced
CTD sensor package.
The data reported here are the high resolution observations recorded
by the CTD unit along the ship's track as processed by the
bio-acoustics group. The unit was generally deployed and towed
between standard stations in an oscillating manner (towyo) over a
depth range of 0 to 300m. Observations were made during four
cruises to the Antarctic, Apr-Sep 2001 and 2002. The general survey
area includes: the continental shelf to the west of the Antarctic
Peninsula extending from the northern tip of Adelaide Island to the
southern portion of Alexander Island, Marguerite Bay, and seaward to
depths of 3000 meters. These CTD data are to be used in conjunction
with the bio-acoustic profiler data set submitted by the PI.
Data have not been post cruise corrected/calibrated and are to be
considered as semi-processed.
