Ryukyu-ayu-fluctuating-asymmetry-&-genetic-diversity-dataset

1. The dataset contains the both-side counts of four bilateral meristic traits of Ryukyu-ayu fish (Plecoglossus altivelis ryukyuensis). The fish specimens were collected from three populations: Yona River, Okinawa Island; Yakugachi River, Amami-oshima Island; hatchery-reared fish at ayu observation center, Amami City.<br>This dataset was used to calculate fluctuating asymmetry (FA) incidence and FA score for each population.<br>2. Another dataset included is the mtDNA sequences from the two mentioned-above Ryukyu-ayu populations of Amami-oshima Island.

1. 本数据集包含琉球香鱼（Plecoglossus altivelis ryukyuensis）四种双侧可数性状的两侧计数结果。所用鱼类标本采自三个种群：冲绳岛与那川、奄美大岛薮川以及奄美市香鱼观测中心的人工繁育个体。本数据集用于计算各该种群的波动不对称（FA）发生率与波动不对称得分。
2. 本数据集同时包含采自奄美大岛的前述2个琉球香鱼种群的线粒体DNA（mtDNA）序列。
