Radiosonde temperature and humidity profiles taken at Summit Station, Greenland, 2022

This data set contains profiles of temperature and humidity observed by Vaisala radiosondes that are launched nominally twice daily at Summit Station, Greenland as part of the Integrated Characterization of Energy, Clouds, Atmospheric state, and Precipitation at Summit (ICECAPS) Project and its follow-on projects ICECAPS-ACE and ICECAPS-MELT. These radiosonde measurements did not initially contain wind tracking information, but transitioned towards including wind tracking in one sonde per data starting in 7/2011, then moving to twice-daily wind sondes in 6/2014. Starting around 2020 the radiosonde program has periodically dropped to one sounding per day, with some periods of no soundings per day, based on funding limitations. The data are processed using the standard Vaisala processing software. Detailed information on these parameters and other aspects of the dataset are included in the netCDF header information for each file.

本数据集收录了格陵兰萨米特站（Summit Station）依托维萨拉（Vaisala）无线电探空仪（radiosonde）获取的温湿廓线观测数据。该观测作为格陵兰顶基能量、云、大气状态与降水综合表征（Integrated Characterization of Energy, Clouds, Atmospheric State, and Precipitation at Summit, ICECAPS）项目及其后续项目ICECAPS-ACE、ICECAPS-MELT的组成部分，名义上每日开展两次探空发射。该批探空数据最初未包含风场追踪信息，2011年7月起逐步实现单枚探空仪搭载风场追踪功能，至2014年6月全面切换为每日两次的风场探空。2020年前后，受经费限制，探空观测计划曾阶段性缩减为每日1次，部分时段甚至每日无探空数据产出。所有数据均通过维萨拉标准处理软件完成预处理，各文件的netCDF格式文件头中包含了参数详情与数据集其他相关说明信息。
