Professional burnout of medical professionals according to specialties and generations

The problem of professional burnout of medical workers around the world is acute and is directly related to the quality of medical care. The aim of the study is to determine the prevalence, severity and risk factors of professional burnout syndrome of medical workers in Tomsk region according to generations to develop preventive measures. Materials and methods. As part of the study, a questionnaire was developed that consisted of 41 questions aimed at assessing the life factors of medical professionals. Also it included an abbreviated version of the MBI questionnaire (Maslach Burnout Inventory) in the Russian-language adaptation by N. E. Vodopyanova and E. S. Starchenkova (2005). The study population was divided into age groups based on the generational theory. Participation in the survey was anonymous and voluntary. Expected results of the study. The study will determine the factors of development professional burnout syndrome of medical workers in Tomsk region according to generations and identify possible correlations with socio-economic status, as well as suggest corrective measures to modernize the personnel policy aimed at preventing this syndrome.全球医务工作者的职业倦怠问题已十分严峻，且与医疗服务质量直接相关。本研究旨在按代际划分，探明托木斯克地区医务工作者职业倦怠综合征的流行率、严重程度及危险因素，进而制定针对性预防措施。 材料与方法：本研究设计了一套包含41个问题的调查问卷，用于评估医务工作者的各类生活影响因素；同时纳入由N.E.沃多皮扬诺娃（N. E. Vodopyanova）与E.S.斯塔琴科娃（E. S. Starchenkova）于2005年完成俄语改编的简化版马氏倦怠量表（Maslach Burnout Inventory, MBI）。研究对象依据代际理论划分为不同年龄组，本次调查采用匿名、自愿参与的方式。 研究预期成果：本研究将明确托木斯克地区不同代际医务工作者职业倦怠综合征的发生危险因素，探明其与社会经济地位的潜在关联，并提出优化人事政策的改进措施，以防范该综合征的发生。
