We used bulk RNAseq to examine differences in blood transcriptomic profiles between depressed individuals with hyperphagia (MDD-hyper) compared to depressed individuals with hypophagia (MDD-hypo) at rest before and after the stress task, controlling for repeated measures. Overall design: A total of 78 samples from 20 individuals are included in the study. Each participants participate in 2 visits, one with a MAST task and one without. The blood samples for bulkRNAseq was taken before and after the task.
