International Hierarchy Expert Survey 2022

This is a project page of the International Hierarchy and Functional Differentiation of States dataset, which is based on the expert survey conducted by a MGIMO University research team in Fall, 2022. It is part of a broader study which started in 2021. Previous version of the dataset was used for publication of an academic article in MGIMO Review of International Relations in early 2022. The article contains methodology of data collection and analysis, as well as an interpretation of the results.
