Processed Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) from the Chilean Inland Passage network of fjords along western coast of Chile, acquired during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP9805 (1998)

This data set was acquired with a SeaBeam Instruments model 2112 multibeam sonar system during Nathaniel B. Palmer expedition NBP9805 conducted in 1998 . These data files include Swath Bathymetry, Acoustic Backscatter data and were processed at sea using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, beginning with version 1. Data were acquired while the Nathaniel B. Palmer was in transit.

本数据集由SeaBeam Instruments 2112型多波束声呐系统采集，采集工作开展于1998年执行的纳撒尼尔·B·帕尔默号科考航次NBP9805期间。数据文件包含条带测深（Swath Bathymetry）与声学背散射数据（Acoustic Backscatter data），且已通过开源MB-System多波束声呐处理软件在海上完成处理。本数据集自GMRT合成数据集（GMRT Synthesis）第1版起即被纳入其中，所有数据均采集于纳撒尼尔·B·帕尔默号的航行过程中。
