EMPOWER platform: an RCT for evaluating the effectiveness of a digital platform for assessing and training executive function and emotion regulation in neurodiverse children

Children with neurodevelopmental disorders or conditions (NDD’s) generally show differences in executive functions and emotion regulation, reflected also in their behavioral problems. Serious games represent a new and supportive intervention in handling the difficulties with which children with NDD’s usually confront. Considering this, we created the EMPOWER digital platform, which proposes to assess and train executive functions and emotion regulation strategies in neurodiverse children. unknown other
