North Atlantic Phytoplankton CPR data from 1958 to 2019

Excel file containing CPR data for area 18N to 85N, -80W to 40E, 1958 to 2019, sample level data (each sample being 1 row, equating to approx. 10 nautical miles of tow, 3m3 of filtered seawater). Phytoplankton abudance counts are recoreded according to according to standard CPR methodology, see Richardson et al. 2006, Prog in Oceanog 68. 27-74). Only those taxa looked for since 1958, with a robustness flagging of 1 and are not a total(sum of other taxa) have been included. For each taxa, values indicate abundance, all presence vales have been converted to zero, zero values are absence of taxon. The data sheets within the excel file consists of samples in rows, with the following information in columns - A:midpoint of sample local date and time :midpoint of sample latitude in decimal degrees C:midpoint of sample longitude in decimal degrees D:chlorophyll index (Phytoplankton Colour Index) E-onwards: taxa abundance counts

本数据集为Excel格式文件，涵盖1958年至2019年间北纬18°至85°、西经80°至东经40°海域的连续浮游生物记录仪（Continuous Plankton Recorder，CPR）数据。数据集采用样本级存储格式，每一行对应一个样本，等价于约10海里的拖曳航程与3立方米过滤海水。浮游植物丰度计数严格遵循标准CPR调查方法，详见Richardson等人2006年发表于《Progress in Oceanography》第68卷第27-74页的研究成果。本次纳入分析的类群需满足以下条件：1958年以来已开展调查的类群、鲁棒性标记为1，且并非其他类群的总和。对于每一类群，其对应数值代表丰度；所有存在记录均保留为实际丰度值，零值则代表该类群未被检出。Excel文件内的数据工作表以行存储所有样本，各列信息依次为：A列：样本中点的本地日期与时间；B列：样本中点的纬度（十进制度格式）；C列：样本中点的经度（十进制度格式）；D列：叶绿素指数（浮游植物色彩指数，Phytoplankton Colour Index）；E列及后续各列：各类群的丰度计数。
