2020 Census PUMAs Final

<p style='margin:0in; font-size:12pt; font-family:Calibri, sans-serif; color:rgb(0, 0, 0);'><b>The Application</b></p><p style='margin:0in; font-size:12pt; font-family:Calibri, sans-serif; color:rgb(0, 0, 0);'>This application allows comparison of the proposed California 2020 Public Use Microdata Areas (PUMAs) with the 2010 PUMAs. The boundaries for these PUMAs were delineated based on population counts for California counties and tracts from the 2020 Census. They cover the entirety of the United States. The Census Bureau defines PUMAs for the tabulation and dissemination of decennial census and American Community Survey (ACS) Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) data. The delineation of new PUMAs occurs after the completion of the decennial census as part of a program involving the State Data Centers (SDCs).
