Ethical Dimensions with LIvestock Keepers during Zoonotic Disease Research

This is a record of discussion of the first FGD in Zambia with traditional livestock keepers. The discussion focused on ethical issues surrounding zoonotic disease research where the livestock belonging to the traditional livestock keepers were used as research subjects. The livestock keepers live in wildlife-livestock interface areas where zoonotic diseases are likely to be transmitted from the wildlife to domestic animals and the livestock keepers. This discussion was held in July 2020 with 30 livestock keepers. The discussion was in Tonga a local Zambian language. The recording was translated and transcribed simultaneously.
