Data and R code for MSc thesis on wildfire activity in protected and non-protected areas

This repository contains all datasets and the GEE and R scripts used in the MSc thesis “ Testing the Wildfire Paradox at the Global Scale: Burnt Area Dynamics in Protected and Non-Protected Ecosystems ”. The archive enables reproduction of the analytical workflow and figures, and provides a reference for future research on fire dynamics, land protection, and ecological context.本开源代码仓库包含了硕士学位论文《全球尺度下野火悖论的检验：受保护与未保护生态系统的过火面积动态》中所使用的全部数据集、Google Earth Engine（GEE）脚本与R语言脚本。该归档资源可复现完整的分析流程与学术图表，并可为火灾动态、土地保护及生态背景相关的后续研究提供参考依据。
