IODP Expedition 371 Core orientation

Core orientation data were measured downhole during advanced piston corer (APC) coring, either by Minex FlexIT or Icefield MI-5 core orientation tool. These tools measure magnetic strength and orientation, 3-axis accelerometer data, and tool temperature data.本数据集的岩心定向数据在采用先进活塞取芯器（Advanced Piston Corer, APC）取芯过程中通过井下方式获取，所用测量工具为Minex FlexIT或Icefield MI-5取芯定向仪。此类工具可测量磁场强度与方位、三轴加速度计数据以及工具自身温度数据。
