Pálffy crypt in Marchegg Castle Park from 1925. Nikolaus Prince Pálffy had this crypt built not far from the castle after the death of his wife Margarethe Princess Pálffy. He died ten years after his wife in Vienna and was transferred to Marchegg and buried next to her. The tomb of the noble family was broken into and looted in 1945. Today the tomb is empty.
