RV Investigator Voyage IN2016_V01 EK60 Echosounder

This record describes scientific split-beam echosounder data collected on the RV Investigator voyage IN2016_V01, 'HEOBI: Heard Earth-Ocean-Biosphere Interactions' which departed Fremantle on the 8th January 2016 and returned to Hobart on the 27th February 2016.

The Simrad EK60 split beam echosounder's 12, 18, 38, 70 120, 200 and 333 kHz frequency bands were used to acquire acoustic backscatter data around Heard and Macdonald Islands and between Fremantle and Hobart. All frequencies were logged continuously for the extent of the voyage. The frequencies were set to passive during the voyage.

Data are stored in *.raw, *.bot and *.idx format at CSIRO. There are 2147 files totalling 175 GB of raw data in this dataset.

No processing has been conducted on this data.

本数据集记录了“调查者号”（RV Investigator）科考船IN2016_V01航次“HEOBI：赫德岛-地球-生物圈相互作用”期间采集的科学级分裂波束回声测深仪（split-beam echosounder）数据。该航次于2016年1月8日从弗里曼特尔起航，2016年2月27日返回霍巴特。

本次科考采用Simrad EK60型分裂波束回声测深仪的12、18、38、70、120、200及333 kHz频段，在赫德岛与麦克唐纳群岛周边海域以及弗里曼特尔至霍巴特的航线上采集声学背散射数据。全航次期间所有频段均持续记录，且全程设置为被动工作模式。

数据以*.raw、*.bot及*.idx格式存储于澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO）。本数据集共计包含2147个文件，原始数据总容量达175 GB。

该数据集未经过任何处理。
