univariate regression of participants
The study showed that participants who received emergency aid, used masks, took medications, were vaccinated, or had chronic conditions (diabetes and hypertension) were more likely to perceive a risk of severe COVID-19. Conversely, those with a health clinic in their neighborhood were less likely to perceive this risk. These findings underscore the link between chronic diseases and risk perception, these results may could help health authorities tailor their strategies to the needs of vulnerable populations, enhancing education and awareness about preventive measures.
