Rutgers 2002 - 2007 HF Radar 6 km Surface Currents

This dataset was created for the research done in the following research: Seasonal climatology of wind-driven circulation on the New Jersey Shelf authored by Donglai Gong, Josh Kohut and Scott Glenn https://doi.org/10.1029/2009JC005520. The original dataset used in the research was a .mat file. To bring it to more modern standards, this dataset has been converted to a netcdf and possesses most of the required compliance measures for Climate and Forecasting data revision 1.6. The data has been regridded from the original grid to the current MARACOOS 06 km grid. The dataset contains east/west and north/south velocities derived from the HF radar off the coast of New Jersey from 2002 - 2007.本数据集为下述研究工作所构建：《新泽西海架风驱动环流的季节气候学》，作者为Donglai Gong、Josh Kohut与Scott Glenn，原文DOI链接：https://doi.org/10.1029/2009JC005520。该研究最初使用的原始数据集为.mat格式文件（.mat），为使其适配现代数据标准，本数据集已转换为NetCDF格式（NetCDF），并满足气候与预报数据修订版1.6的多数合规要求。该数据集已从原始网格重网格化至当前MARACOOS 06公里网格。本数据集包含2002年至2007年新泽西海岸外高频雷达（High Frequency Radar, HF）反演得到的东西向与南北向海流速度数据。
