Publication Metadata

This metadata is organized to develop an inventory of study sites for Korean Quaternary paleoecology research. The further details of data extracted from these 66 publications are explained at https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.28236596.This dataset includes bibliographic data of articles (<i>n</i> = 66) regarding Korean Quaternary Paleoecology published in peer-reviewed Korean and international journals between 2003 and 2023. The dataset is formatted with nine categories: 1) PublicationID, 2) Authors, 3) Publication Year, 4) Title, 5) Journal, 6) Vol.Issue.Num.Pages, 7) DOI, 8) Written language, and 9) type of study site. Regarding type of study sites, the publications are broadly categorized into two groups based on the primary goals of the sampling: paleo-site for sediment record and surface site for modern surface sample. <br>
