In the most populous country in the world, the market of eSports game has become more vast and varied. As of the first half of 2019, shooting games ranked the first in the Chinese eSports client gaming market. More than 40 percent of the top 100 eSports client games belonged to the shooting category, followed by tactical games with 16.7 percent.
