Road safety survey 1993

This is the 13th study in a series of annual surveys on road safety conducted since 1981. The study is conducted by Statistics Sweden on behalf of the the Swedish National Road Administration, which had the overall responsibility for road safety in Sweden in 1993. Today the study is conducted on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration.

The study aims to identify and analyse traffic safety statistics. This is done by a written questionnaire directed to a stratified sample of the population. The study from 1993 had a 77 percent response rate and a sample of 4 800 randomly selected people aged between 15 and 74 years.

The questions in the study include, for example, traffic behaviour and traffic patterns; attitudes to road safety and traffic rules, the relation between alcohol and traffic and child safety in traffic. Both motor traffic, bicycle and foot traffic is concerned. A total of 29 questions are used, including descriptive questions, estimation questions and attitude questions.

Purpose:

The survey aims to identify and analyse traffic safety statistics.

本研究为1981年起持续开展的年度道路安全系列调查的第13项。该调查由瑞典统计局（Statistics Sweden）受托开展，1993年的委托方为瑞典国家道路管理局——彼时该局承担瑞典全国道路安全的整体管理职责；如今调查的委托方已变更为瑞典交通管理局。

本次调查旨在识别并分析交通安全统计数据，具体实施方式为向分层抽样的人群发放书面问卷。1993年的本次调查共随机选取4800名年龄介于15至74岁之间的受访者，最终有效回收率达77%。

问卷内容涵盖交通行为与出行模式、道路安全及交通规则认知、酒驾相关议题以及道路儿童安全等，覆盖机动车交通、自行车交通与步行交通三类场景。整套问卷共计29题，包含描述性问题、评估性问题与态度类问题。
