资源简介:
The FRESH end-to-end approach evaluation is a longitudinal cluster-randomized controlled trial designed to assess the effectiveness of a package of demand-, supply-, and food-environment–focused interventions on vegetable production and fruit and vegetable intake among women of reproductive age in Northern Tanzania. The trial is implemented in 33 villages across five districts in the Arusha and Kilimanjaro regions. To better understand community-level factors that may influence agricultural production and dietary intake, a quantitative village survey was conducted in each study village with knowledgeable key informants (e.g., village leaders, village chairpersons, village executive secretaries). The survey collected information on local infrastructure; community groups; agricultural, health, nutrition, and development programs active in the village; transportation availability; electricity access; shocks or unexpected events experienced in the past five years; and seed systems. These data provide essential contextual information to interpret household- and individual-level outcomes within the FRESH end-to-end approach evaluation.
