Simultaneous sequencing of coding and non-coding RNA from APP/PS1 transgenic mice at 15-months

Brain samples (left hippocampus) from APP/PS1 transgenic mice and wild-type littermate at 15-months were processed for simultaneous coding and non-coding RNA-Seq analysis using a novel RNA-Seq protocol. These data were then analyzed for differential expression. Total RNA was extracted from 15-month APP/PS1 mouse brain tissue (Left hippocampus; 4 transgenic, 4 wild-type littermates), and a modified RNA-Seq protocol used to simultaneously examine coding and non-coding RNA.
