Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. 公共道路网络的持续维护，依托新南威尔士州及地方政府道路管理部门提供的信息、土地登记资料、最新可用影像及其他公开源数据开展。国有森林、公园及保护区内的道路、通行便道及防火步道数据，由相关托管机构提供的数据源进行维护更新。私有产权道路与便道则通过定期更新的最新影像数据进行周期性维护。交通主题内的其他要素，如铁路、渡轮、航空设施、道口及交通控制设施等，均长期整合多源数据获取。

空间服务部门（Spatial Services）为本基础主题数据集的权威可信来源，可提供新南威尔士州全域完整、实时且精准的覆盖数据。本数据集的建设目标为整合最优可用数据并持续迭代更新，以满足核心数据用户的需求。新南威尔士州交通主题道路数据符合全国道路工作组（National Roads Working Group）的绝大多数规范要求。通过持续优化数据模型与数据内容，可进一步确保实现总体建设目标。交通主题数据集将通过系统性优化铁路、水上通航及航空数据网络与基础设施，实现数据质量提升。

精度说明：本数据集依据澳大利亚国家测绘委员会《地图精度标准（1975）》，采用多比例尺、多精度等级的最优源数据采集，比例尺范围为1:500至1:250 000。因此，90%的明确特征点位在对应比例尺地图上的位置误差不超过0.5mm。具体换算如下：1:500比例尺对应实地0.25米，1:2000比例尺对应实地1米，1:4000比例尺对应实地2米，1:25000比例尺对应实地12.5米，1:50000比例尺对应实地25米，1:100000比例尺对应实地50米。目前，本数据集的空间位置与精度升级工作正在持续推进中。
