VITYAZ Zooplankton

A collection of zooplankton biomass data sampled aboard multiple cruises aboard the R/V Vityaz available through COPEPOD. See the cruise summary web page for a detailed list of cruise dates, number of tows and sampled data. Data can be directly downloaded from the COPEPOD website. Coastal & Oceanic Plankton Ecology, Production & Observation Database (COPEPOD) is an on-line global plankton database by NOAA - National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Data were digitized from manuscript in collaboration with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission - Global Oceanographic Data Archaeology & Rescue Project (IOC-GODAR), with funding from NOAA ESDIM and Global Climate Change programs. Deposited content: descriptive metadata only; underlying research data are not included.
