FTIR fingerprint spectra of various intact lichen samples (Dataset related to article)

Dataset related to the article "Chemically diverse: Chemotaxonomic discrimination and comparative fingerprinting of intact lichens from different families and genera using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and chemometrics" https://doi.org/10.1016/j.saa.2025.127260 The FTIR fingerprint spectra of intact lichen samples included in the related study discriminating lichens based on spectral patterns. The spectral data were deposited in JCAMP-DX format, which is widely recognized by many spectroscopy softwares. The data with prefix "Fig.1-2" are representative spectra that were used to create Figures 1 and 2 in the paper. All other spectra with abrreviated species codes (see the Table S1 in the related paper, also provided in this entry as a pdf file) were used in chemometric analyses for classification. All the spectra were recorded using an FTIR instrument operating in the mid-IR region and equipped with an attenuated total reflectance (ATR) cell.
