NorOpenBookQA is a multiple-choice question answering (QA) dataset designed for Norwegian, intended for zero- and few-shot evaluation of language models world knowledge. The dataset contains 3,500 examples in both written standards of Norwegian: Bokmål and Nynorsk. Each instance consists of an elementary-level science question, four answer choices, and a factual statement that presents the evidence necessary to determine the correct answer. The dataset was created by the Language Technology Group at the University of Oslo and is licensed under MIT.
