Beautiful copy, finished the 24th of Sha’bân, A.H. 1147 (A.D. 1735, January 19), by Khâkpâi khalḳ-illâh Mihr ‘Ali (خاكپاى خلق الله مهر على). Beginning of the preface, on fol. 1b:هذا الكتاب المثنوى المعنوى اين كتاب الخ. Beginning of the poetry, on fol. 6b: بشنو از نى الخ. Annotations, written in red ink, on the margin. No. 3306, olim 11. J. 12, ff. 167, 2 coll., each ll. 15; large and very distinct Nasta’lîḳ , written on stiff brown paper; illuminated frontispieces on ff. 1b and 6b; the first pages of the preface as well as of the poetry beautifully adorned; each column in the whole MS. framed by gold-stripes; size, 101/4 in. by 57/8 in.
