THE IMPACT OF GLOBALIZATION ON NATIONAL CULTURE AND VALUES

The rapid development of technology, international trade, communication systems, and transportation has increased interaction among countries and cultures. As a result, globalization has significantly influenced national cultures and traditional values in many societies. This thesis examines the impact of globalization on national culture and values, focusing on both its positive and negative effects. The study highlights how globalization promotes cultural exchange, international cooperation, and access to global knowledge and technologies. Through media, the internet, and social networks, people can learn about different traditions, languages, and lifestyles, which contributes to cultural understanding and tolerance. Moreover, globalization creates opportunities for economic development, tourism, and educational cooperation between nations. However, globalization also presents several challenges to national identity and cultural heritage. The spread of foreign lifestyles, languages, and media may weaken traditional customs, local languages, and national values, especially among young people.全球化已成为当代世界最具影响力的进程之一，深刻影响着社会的经济、政治、社会生活与文化领域。科技、国际贸易、通信系统及交通运输的迅猛发展，推动了各国与各文化间的互动往来。由此，全球化已对诸多社会的民族文化与传统价值观念产生了显著影响。本研究探讨全球化对民族文化及价值观念的影响，兼顾分析其正反两方面效应。研究着重阐明，全球化可促进文化交流、国际合作，拓展全球知识与技术的获取渠道。借助媒体、互联网与社交网络，人们能够了解不同的传统、语言与生活方式，这有助于增进文化理解与包容。此外，全球化为各国的经济发展、旅游业及教育合作创造了机遇。但与此同时，全球化也对民族认同与文化遗产带来了诸多挑战：外来生活方式、语言与媒体的传播，可能会削弱传统习俗、本土语言与民族价值观念，这一现象在青年群体中尤为突出。
