Mackay Region Riparian Restoration - Part 4

A project to see a greater level of proactive catchment management including restoration, rejuvenation and protection of the important riparian areas throughout the Mackay Region.

This project will ensure greater environmental sustainability in the form of natural ecosystem enhancement and repair, erosion prevention, increased biodiversity and greater public awareness of the importance of riparian ecosystems.

These outcomes will be delivered through a wide array of activities including weed control, revegetation, improved public access, erosion prevention, community events and propagation of local native plant species

本项目旨在提升主动流域管理（proactive catchment management）水平，涵盖对麦凯（Mackay）地区全域重要河岸带（riparian areas）的修复、复壮与保护工作。
