Transcriptome analysis of gene expression change after piRNA LNA-antagonist treatment. Pinctada fucata

Piwi-interacting RNA (piRNA) was obviously expressed in pearl oyster (Pinctada fucata) somatic and gonadal tissues. Here, we used LNA-antagonist to silence piRNA0001 expression, which was most highly expressed in P. fucata somatic tissues. Two weeks after injection, adductor muscle (Ad), gill (Gi) and mantle (Ma) tissues were collected from LNA-antagonist (LNA) and control (Con) groups for RNA-seq. The gene expression change after LNA-antagonist treatment were calculated in comparsion with Con group.
