Redondo Meadows Sample 9 (RME09 Ponderosa Pine W.P.#024)

The project goal is to investigate the past climatic variability on a local micro and lower mesoscale level with a focus on precipitation cyclicity and intensity using proxy data obtained from dendrochronological (tree ring) analysis. The major species for this analysis work is pinus ponderosa.

本项目旨在探究局地微尺度及较低中尺度范畴内的古气候变异性，研究聚焦于降水循环规律与强度，所用数据源自通过树轮年代学（dendrochronological）分析获取的代用资料。本次分析的主要研究树种为美国黄松（Pinus ponderosa）。
