OpenSpace Asset for High-Speed Magnetosheath Jets Measured by THEMIS Satellites, 2012-2018

An OpenSpace asset depicting the jet dataset at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10531587 as an Earth-centered pointcloud. To add this asset to OpenSpace: Download jets.csv and HSJ_pointcloud.asset to the user/data/assets folder of your OpenSpace installation. Import the asset to OpenSpace by profile edit, Lua command or drag-and-drop of the .asset file. Optionally, import the magnetosphere asset as well. Set visibility to Developer or higher in order to view the colormap menu filtering options: `openspace.setPropertyValueSingle("OpenSpaceEngine.PropertyVisibility", 4.000000)` With visibility set to Developer or higher, the user can use the Colormap menu to filter jets by various parameters in the table, as shown in the preview image. Note that time information is not included in this asset, which is why jets appear outside the magnetosheath. The points are rendered relative to Earth in GEO coordinates. In the preview images, the magnetosphere asset is included for scale only. In future versions, integrated time-based filtering would show these jets appear and disappear as they are detected in the magnetosheath.
