资源简介:
Markos Koumoulas, David Bindi Hudson (Ewamian/Western Yalanji), and Nigel Pegrum meet again at Pegasus Studios in Cairns, Queensland on Aug. 4, 2022, to discuss how to use limited vocabulary when expressing multiple meanings across multiple songs. David reflects on his time performing with the Tjapukai Dance Theatre and shares stories of similar experiences in regard to writing music with language in a classical Aboriginal song style. Newly written song stories are presented, and the team brainstorms different ways in which to make both the lyrics and associated didjeridu rhythms as simple as possible. Fieldnotes and summary of discussion: MK1-20220804-notes Audio recording of discussion: MK1-20220804-01. Language as given:
