Black soldier fly larvae oil as a potential nutraceutical ingredient in diets for hybrid catfish Ictalurus punctatus x I. furcatus juveniles

Catfish oil was replaced at 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100% with BSFL oil. Juveniles of hybrid catfish (Ictalurus punctatus x I. furcatus) were fed for 60 days. After the feeding trial, digesta was collected from the posterior segment and subjected to DNA extraction, followed by sequencing the V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene.
