Cross-sectional validation of the COPD Assessment Test (CAT) among chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients in rural Uganda.

Measuring quality of life is key component in the management of COPD. The COPD assessment test (CAT) is an easy to administer and shorter instrument than the standard Saint George’s respiratory questionnaire (SGRQ), an alternative tool for measuring the quality of life (QoL) of COPD patients. The study validated the CAT questionnaire.

生活质量评估是慢性阻塞性肺疾病 (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, COPD) 管理的核心环节。慢性阻塞性肺疾病评估测试 (COPD Assessment Test, CAT) 作为评估慢性阻塞性肺疾病患者生活质量 (Quality of Life, QoL) 的替代工具，相较于标准圣乔治呼吸问卷 (Saint George’s Respiratory Questionnaire, SGRQ) 更易于实施且更为简洁。本研究对CAT问卷进行了有效性验证。
