Data for the preprint 'The volitional control of individual motor units is constrained within low-dimensional manifolds by common inputs' (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2024.01.05.573816v1) by Rossato et al.Each file comprises:the raw EMG signals recorded from the Gastrocnemii (GM) muscles or the Vastii (VL) muscles with grids of 64 surface electrodesthe force, the target, and the path followed by the participant during the online tasksthe parameters of the EMG decompositionthe output of the automatic decomposition (motor unit pulse trains and series of discharge times)the edited version of motor unit pulse trains and series of discharge timesThe files are compatible with the application MUedit (https://github.com/simonavrillon/MUedit) for visualisation and manual edition of the motor unit discharge times.
